The 94th NFL season is here and we take a look at the teams and players and do our yearly review. We love our football and every season becomes more exciting than the previous. We only wish that they would extend and make football have a longer season. All eyes were on Tom Brady after he sprained his left knee during at practice. Brady suffered a season-ending injury to the same knee in the 2008 opener. As of August during the preseason games there was a long list of players having injuries and were questionable if they would be able to start or if they would be out for the season. Here is our rundown and preview and predictions for the 2013-14 season. The last regular season games takes place on Sun. Dec. 29 and the playoffs get underway on Sat. Jan 4, 2014. The 2013 season then concludes with Super Bowl XLVIII at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sun. Feb 2, 2014.
There have been several coaching changes for the upcoming season with Bruce Arians taking over from Ken Whisenhunt at the Arizona Cardinals, Doug Marrone replacing Chan Gailey in Buffalo, Marc Trestman stepping in for Lovie Smith in Chicago, Rob Chudzinski taking over from Pat Shurmur in Cleveland, Gus Bradley replacing Mike Mularkey in Jacksonville, Andy Reid filling in for Romeo Crennel in Kansas City, Chip Kelly replacing Andy Reid in Philadelphia, and Mike McCoy stepping in for Norv Turner in San Diego. Also, Sean Payton has been reinstated as head coach in New Orleans after sitting out last season due to a suspension. NFL-preview-2013
