In 2018, the economy of health and mind-body rose to $624 billion (up from $595 billion in 2017). When fresh, creative fitness ideas emerge, legacy brands are forced to adapt and keep up to the expectations of their guests. Also, new fitness technologies are transforming conventional fitness models, ranging from digital workouts to fitness apps and wearables, connected home systems and more.
Before our eyes, the fitness and wellness landscape is changing radically. While the exercise was once seen as a simple means of staying fit, losing weight and building some muscles, it is no longer the case nowadays. New technologies are growing; old-fashioned learning methods are being revised or modified with a completely different twist, and target markets that once wouldn’t even dare to say that the term “fitness” has become strong advocates of reform.
It is only natural to be involved in what current and future developments are in store for us with such a transition taking place.
