WOMEN WHO HAVE MORE SEX HAVE BETTER DEVELOPED BRAINS: STUDY SAYS
A recent study claims that there is a connection between touch and brain development in adult women. This study published by the Journal of Neuroscience found that there is a part associated with genial stimulation, and this is much more developed in sexually active women.
Recently, scientific researchers have identified a region of the brain that develops much more frequently in those who are constantly sexually active.
The belief that sex is only about reproductive purposes is quite wrong. Now, more than anything, this thought has begun to be forgotten. That is why sexuality goes far beyond genitality. Penetration is not only the major component of a sexual relationship, human beings tend to look for connections between the brain rather than any other organ when beginning to have intercourse.
Who participated in the study?
This study was developed on female volunteers. The participants are women between 18 and 45 years old. These women were subjected to certain levels of arousal where the clitoris was stimulated at the same time the brain was scanned. These brain scans were performed on functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
How the study does was realized?
This study was carried out by means of stimulations with a vibrating device. A small, round object was placed over the underwear at the level of each woman’s clitoris. All these devices had to perform about eight times with periods of ten seconds each time. Subsequently, it was allowed to rest for another ten seconds. In these intervals, the images were quite revealing, they showed the somatosensory cortex region of the brain beginning to activate at the exact moment the device began to vibrate.
