OVERVIEW
The DJ known as Illenium is having a boom in his career. Nicholas D. Miller became known in San Francisco, California in 2013. So far, he has made leaps and bounds in his career and continues to rise because of all the fans he has gathered and continues to gather. The DJ’s main feature is Melodic Dubstep. This has led him to excel in everything he does, and to be at the top of his tracks. In all of his productions, he transmits a feeling and emotions that make you transport yourself to any place where each listener releases all the feelings they have.
THE LIFE OF THE DJ ILLENIUM
Miller is a renowned DJ who was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was born on December 26, 1990, and shortly after, he moved to San Francisco where he grew up. Miller began to enter the world of electronic music in early 2008. This started as a hobby, but around 2012, he attended a Bassnectar show that changed his whole perspective on this world. After attending this show, he decided to make his first single.
Denver, Colorado was his home in 2013, when he decided to move to this State. It was in Denver that he had his official debut, where he released the self-titled EP. This was released through a label called Prep School Recordings. All these releases were taken well by the listening public and also within the EDM community. It was then that Miller decided to release additional singles. Also, he decided to remix songs like Odesza, Dawn Golde, and Oh Wonder, among others.

HOW WERE THE BEGINNINGS OF ILLENIUM?
In 2008, Illenium began to have an interest in music production and started doing somewhat sporadic remixes with songs that are quite well known. Later, he edited them and ended up posting them on SoundCloud. Already in 2012, he decided to turn around and focus 100% on his artistic career and began to produce his first songs. There he released his first eponymous EP to release it in 2013. However, at that time, he did not stop making remixes.
DEBUT STUDIO ALBUM
In 2016 his first debut studio album came out. This album was titled “Ashes,” which was available for free download through Kasaya Recording, Suicide Sheep’s imprint, and Seeking Blue. The success of this album was so great that it reached number 6 on the Billboard Dance and Electronic Albums chart. One of the most popular songs these days was “Reverie,” which was considered a musical gem for electronica lovers.
Already in 2016, he had one of his best years with two remixes that he released, and he collaborated with internationally renowned artists. The remix of “Don’t Let me Down” allowed him to earn more than 60 million views on his flagship platform SoundCloud.
